Statement of Mr. Osman Yagoub, Minister of Finance in the State of the River Nile at Khartoum International Fair 35th Edition

River Nile State Minister of Finance, Mr. Osman Yagoub, said that the high turnout witnessed by the current edition of the international Fair of Khartoum , visitors and foreign participation is a positive indicator for pursuit for investment opportunities in Sudan. He said in a statement to “Suna” that the continued participation of his state has achieved a large commercial and investment opportunities where more than 21 countries are exhibiting .
He pointed out that the aim of the participation is to exchange information and experiments with other countries.
The Minister said that within the River Nile State pavilion he held several agreements and meetings with businessmen from the UAE Saudi Arabia and others. , where the state has drawn up an investment map that has been handed over to those countries.
The Finance Minister further praised the exciting organization and arrangement of the exhibition by the Sudanese Free Zones and Markets Co.SFZ, especially the States Pavilions. He suggested that Khartoum International Fair be organized on rotating basis every year in a single state to demonstrate their resources and potentials and citizens to overcome the problems of investment dissatisfaction.
The Finance Minister further stated that the Ministry has introduced a various package of goods and commodities to alleviate the burden of living for the citizens. The goods and commodities are to be distributed trade unions and the Ministry provided guarantees more than 60 billion SDG to provide goods and commodities for more than 30 thousand workers in the River beside a substantial contribution to Pension Scheme ad Microfinance programme for graduates .
